This energy-from-waste plant, with a waste capacity of 245,000 t/a, was erected in Plymouth, England. Trial Operation was concluded in the third quarter of 2015. Envi Con served here as “owner’s engineer” as well as “construction site supervisor.”
Devonport EfW CHP Facility
The industrial site of Oleon in Ertvelde near Antwerp, Belgium will be upgraded with a new combined heat and power plant to supply electricity and steam. Envi Con is engaged as EPCM to design the plant, elaborate the technical specification for the lot-wise procurement, support the procurement process and lead the execution of the project until commissioning.
This single-unit, hard-coal-fired plant in Mannheim-Neckarau, Germany, was constructed to supply power and district heating. Envi Con was responsible for developing the project study, preparing the approval application in accordance with the German Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), and general engineering services for the complete power plant unit.
The hard-coal-fired two-unit power plant in Eemshaven, the Netherlands, has a gross power output of approx. 2 x 800 MW. Envi Con assumed overall design of the plant as EPCM contract partner. This included project management, engineering, procurement and construction management in the course of the plant’s construction.
In the north of Iraq, at their Khabat site (30km west of Erbil), Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity is erecting two conventional HFO-fired power plant units with a power output of 150 MW each. Envi Con was commissioned by a Turkish EPC subcontractor in the role of architect engineer.
In Berlin-Lichterfelde, Germany, this existing power plant is being expanded to include a combined heat and power (CHP) unit as well as two additional steam generators. The overall contract was awarded to a Spanish company, which in turn commissioned Envi Con as architectural engineer to provide detailed engineering / execution planning of the construction scope, detailed engineering / production planning for the scope of piping, layout planning and construction site support locally.
